Zambia's employment outlook: diversification, formalization and education
This working paper is an update of a previous ILO paper, 'Inclusive growth and productive employment in Zambia', published in 2015. It seeks to inform the forthcoming formulation of Zambia's Seventh National Development Framework for 2017-21. Its main objective is to assess whether there has been a change in the dynamics and characteristics of the labour market and employment over the period 2012-14, by using newly available data on the labour force.
