Policy initiatives > Inquiries and reviews
Government inquiries and reviews investigate specific topics or issues, usually conducted by a panel of experts that involve consultations with, and input from, stakeholders. This section of the VET Knowledge Bank lists government inquiries and reviews that relate to the VET sector. These range from parliamentary committee inquiries to reviews commissioned by ministers and government departments, at national and state/territory levels. The dates of the inquiries range from the establishment of the inquiry to either the release of the final report, or where applicable, the tabling of the government response to the inquiry.
Some older national inquiries and reviews have become ‘landmark documents’, ones that have had significant impact and influence on the development of the national VET system. A timeline of national landmark documents, comprising influential national inquiries/reviews and other key document, is available in the VET Knowledge Bank.
This is a growing resource and additional inquiries will be added in due course.
