Dr Peter Hurley is an education policy researcher at Victoria University's Mitchell Institute. His research focus is broad and covers sectors from early childhood education and care (ECEC) to adult education. Peter’s work is often translational, which involves examining approaches in different parts of the research literature and adapting these to frame policy issues and to suggest areas where it may be possible to improve education systems. Peter uses both quantitative and qualitative approaches in his work. Peter also has a particular interest in advocating for equitable policy solutions so that the benefits of education can be shared by all.
