Australian fire competency standards: level 5.

These standards are broad based functions that integrate a series of skills which will apply in a variety of contexts. They are centred around the notion of competency, expressed as a work outcome. Each standard has the following components: units of competence; elements of competence; performance criteria; and range statements. These competencies are based on current functions and technology in the fire services. They are intended to be revised and updated as work practices and technology change.
