I'd rather you didn't

This teaching package has been designed for 15-25 year olds and aims to encourage participants to avoid passive smoking. This avoidance is to be achieved by participants gaining skills in how to: (i) say 'yes' to the question 'Do you mind if I smoke?' (ii) ask someone not to smoke if that person is already smoking.

The package uses the innovative role-play technique called 'pooling your wisdom' to help participants develop, refine, and rehearse strategies for limiting their exposure to passive smoke.

This package includes measurable aims and objectives, reasons for the use of particular educational strategies, step by step teaching directions supported by teaching notes and masters for overhead transparencies, as well as the overhead transparencies themselves. Show less
