Understanding youth pathways: paths through the maze: route maps for education, community and health services
In this paper, the author explores the concept of pathways and the journey from school onwards for young people. She discusses some of the emerging issues for linkages between education, health, community and other services, and introduces some of the relevant bodies of interdisciplinary research pertinent to youth pathways. She also raises the issue of early school leavers and discusses the implications for the development of an evidence base in youth pathways.
