Culturally responsive pedagogy: looking at the Victorian VET sector
This Fellowship report focuses on how the non-Indigenous teacher can facilitate culturally responsive learning in the [vocational education and training] VET space. Looking at strategies that range from organisation-wide to personal reflective practice, the report argues for the need to take a strengths-based approach to working with First Nations students and establish rigorous cultural education strategies for all staff working in the VET sector.
