Accessing teamwork skills for workforce readiness
Teamwork has gained increasing prominence as an essential workplace skill in recent years. This chapter reviews the factors that need to be considered by schools approaching the task of developing teamwork assessments. A review of teamwork definitions is given and the dimensions of teamwork as well as the purposes of teams in schools and work settings are discussed.
