TAFE NSW strategic directions 2002-2004

This poster promotes new ways in which TAFE New South Wales (NSW) can provide services and products that will enable businesses, industries, communities and individuals in NSW to develop their capabilities and to prosper. These directions build on past initiatives and are a guide to the development and implementation of innovative practices and solutions within TAFE NSW over the next three years. TAFE NSW guarantees that it will strive to provide vocational education and training (VET) of the highest quality that: (1) meets the needs and aspirations of its customers; (2) provides relevant skills for the current and future workforce; and (3) is recognised across the nation and globally. The five directions and accompanying success measures are: (1) grow the business of TAFE NSW for its customers; (2) drive the integration of skill formation in social and economic development; (3) empower all people involved to excel; (4) innovate to improve products and services for customers; and (5) be acclaimed for quality.
