Mathematics and apprentices: a research report

It relates research on apprentices’ cognitive development and motivational problems to the psychological theories of Behaviourist and Gestalt - cognitive learning and achievement motivation. This is done with a view to establishing appropriate assessment procedures and a remedial program format for apprentices starting college.
