North Metropolitan TAFE annual report [2016-2023]

North Metropolitan TAFE's annual report covers the financial year from 1 January to 31 December. The document provides an overview of the TAFE and reports on its performance, compliance, industrial relations and independent auditing.

North Metropolitan TAFE (NMT) is a State Government provider of vocational education and training (VET) services for the northern region of the Perth metropolitan area. NMT has ten campuses spread amongst 14 local government areas across the greater north and north-eastern parts of Perth, including: Clarkson; Joondalup (Kendrew Cres, McLarty St); Leederville, Mt Lawley and Nedlands; Midland and Balga; and Perth (Northbridge) and East Perth. It has more than a century-long history, starting life as Western Australia's first post-secondary education provider, Perth Technical College, in 1900. Perth Technical College eventually became Central Institute of Technology. Central and West Coast Institute came together to form North Metropolitan TAFE in 2016. Polytechnic West campuses, Balga and Midland, joined in early 2017.
