Abstract:

This report is the outcome of a third phase of collaborative research on integrating transversal competencies into education policy and practice, focusing on professional development for teachers. The definition of 'transversal competencies' (TVCs) used in the report covers six domains: critical and innovative thinking; interpersonal skills; intrapersonal skills; global citizenship; media and information literacy; and 'others' (as defined by individual participating countries/economies).
